“The actual piece of art is a byproduct. Through the process, students learn to be self-sufficient, creative, open-minded — that’s the core.”

Making Art, Building Community, Transforming Lives

Why Donate to D.R.A.W.?

Your support for D.R.A.W. goes beyond art; it's about nurturing creativity, building self-confidence, and shaping the future. Join us in fostering creativity and making art accessible to all.

Every contribution, no matter the size, empowers our community and the artists, printmakers, and youth we serve.

D.R.A.W. prides itself on accessibility, offering a pay-what-you-can model for all students and providing all materials for our wide variety of classes. D.R.A.W. is committed to deeply engaging in community arts education, serving as an agent of change in the lives of participants, and helping galvanize the cultural, social, and financial dynamics of the community.

Your donation helps us maintain this inclusive approach and make art education accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances.

As a central part of our work, D.R.A.W. manages the PUGG program, a paid teen workforce training program for ages 15-24. PUGG students assist in classes, exhibitions, and events, and are placed to work as paid interns in the local arts industry.

Our new project, the Neighborhood Print Studio at the Pajama Factory is designed as a creative, community hub and workspace where budding artists and experienced printmakers can come together. Your contribution will help us develop and grow this studio to meet the needs of artists of all backgrounds and abilities.

Here is how your donation makes a difference:

  • $30 - supports tuition for one student to attend a 2-hour art class

  • $150 - supports tuition for one grade school-aged student to attend a 6-week class series

  • $200 - supports tuition for a middle/high school student/adult to attend a 6-week series of classes

  • $750 - provides transportation for PUGG interns to visit/work with local arts and culture organizations

  • $1000 - fully sponsors a PUGG intern for an academic semester in our teen and young adult leadership program that provides +300 hours of on-the-job training and mentoring by local teaching artists
