P.U.G.G. is an after school work-study program providing job training in arts management, arts education and entrepreneurship. Students create exhibition spaces for Kingston High School alumni, keeping young artists in the area and creative. Currently, P.U.G.G. is curating shows at the Kingston Artist Collective on the Rondout. P.U.G.G. students provide support for local arts organization events and work assisting teaching artists, through D.R.A.W. programing. P.U.G.G. students can get 1/2 KHS credit, they can then apply for paid work study. We believe that a strong art education significantly enhances the character, quality of life, and economy of the neighborhood.
